THE JOGLO
Our Joglo on the Beach is fully-enclosed for privacy, has 3 bedrooms and ample secure parking. It is shaded by mature trees, has its own private pool, tropical garden and a large outdoor gazebo (Javanese-style).The Joglo is located on the outskirts of Lovina – providing easy access to restaurants and shops etc - but self-contained and private. Our Joglo on the Beach is an ideal place to relax but also a perfect starting point for day trips to cultural and natural highlights of North Bali and beyond.
The word “joglo” actually refers to the traditional Javanese roof shape – which almost forms a pyramid. Inside, the exotic roof carvings generate a mystical and exotic atmosphere. This luxury traditional wooden house has an ample dining and living area, together with a fully-equipped kitchen that includes a large fridge, oven and microwave. It is surprisingly spacious. All rooms are on the ground floor and enjoy air-conditioning. The inside living space has a massive wooden dining table that stylishly seats 10 people, two resting areas with comfy seats enabling superb views over the garden to the sea, and even a flat screen TV for those who may need one. The verandah, created and sheltered by the joglo roof, affords yet more resting and eating areas.
Each bedroom has large wardrobes and en-suite bathroom, whilst the Master bedroom boasts two wash basins and two showers. We offer the choice of two or three bedrooms depending on your needs. The large double beds all have mosquito netting (more for effect than necessity) and sumptuous linen.
GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL
There is a 9 by 3 meter pool that laps right up to the side of the terrace, complete with 4 sun-beds and parasols. Beside the pool is a very large wooden Sumatran gazebo where 10 people can easily relax whilst looking over the beach, garden and pool. Additionally, we provide an outside BBQ and pizza oven. The beach is accessed through your own private gate right onto the sand.
